The K8 and H8 are small discreet alarming ratemeters for detecting radiation and radioactive materials near by protecting people from radiation exposure. All units are tested using an NIST traceable radiation source. Ideal for airport checkpoint guards and baggage handlers, pilots and flight attendants, police and firefighter, coast guard, border patrols, military, hospital workers, package and courier services, custom and cargo inspectors. Applications:

Red LED flashes at approx. 10 mR/hr (100 mSv/hr), custom settable are available. Yellow LED is on when battery needs replacing
