The MCERTS Approved SM200 is a combined 40 x filter gravimetric sampler fully meeting the EU/UK CEN 1234-1 Equivalency criteria. With a reliable, technologically advanced automatic filter cassette system the SM200 can be set-up to gravimrically sample particulate matter for up to 40 days. After which time the exposed filters (40 filters, 1 filter per day) can then be analysed for composition and weighed for mass concentration.

In addition, the in-built beta-attenuation mass measurement system provides an automatic calculation of the particulate on a 24 hour average basis.

For those who would like data resolution down to less than 1 hour, the optional RTPM (real-time particulate module) uses a laser nepthalometer system to measure concentration levels down to 1-minute resolution. The RTPM is a small additional unit installed between the PM inlet head and the SM200 monitor.
