Type 8719 is an instrument for liquid fl ow control in process technology.The measured value provided by the sensor will be compared in the digitalcontrol electronics with the predefi ned set point according to the signal; if acontrol difference is present, the control value output to the proportional valvewill be modifi ed using a PI-control algorithm. In this way, the fl ow can be maintainedat a fi xed value or a predefi ned profi le can be followed, regardless ofpressure changes or other disturbances in the system.As a control element, a proportional valve working at low friction guaranteesthe high sensitivity and good control characteristics of the unit.
