With the help of the SONAPHONE M it is possible to prevent damages at a very early stage leading to a reduction of costs. The regular control of engines, pumps and gearings with the SONAPHONE M leads to an increased safety in operations and guaranties high machine availability. The option of an additional ultrasonic transmitter allows the control of the leak tightness of windows, doors, cabins, vehicles and devices without much effort. Furthermore, there is the possibility of tightness control at gate valves and steam traps.

Background noises and abrasion at system components and rotating machines can be recorded electronically. Besides the known single- and long time tests, all irregularities can be transferred to the PC as well. Hence, they can be saved and displayed graphically or in tabular form. An effective data logger allows a quick data transfer between detector and computer via USB interface.
